SENIOR PASTOR |

DR. GERALD WEBBER
|
Dr. Gerald Webber began his ministry as Senior Pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church on June 18, 2006. He retired from his position as President of Continental Baptist Missions effective April 2006 having served in that capacity for fifteen years. He had pastored several churches before being accepted by Baptist Mid-Missions in 1978 for a church planting ministry in New Zealand. From 1984-1991 he served with that mission as Field Administrator for North America, Asia and the Pacific. Pastor Webber and his wife, Kathy have one son, David, and four grandchildren. |

DONALD A. MESSENGER
|
Rev. Donald A. Messenger was called as Associate Pastor effective July 1, 2010. He is a graduate of Baptist Bible Seminary. He has served in pastoral ministry in New York State, Indiana and Florida since 1954. During thirty years in Indiana he served on the Council of 12, the Camp Board and Baptist Children's Home board. He has also served as Field Representative with Baptist Children's Home and as Prinicipal of two Christian schools. He and his first wife, Marjorie, celebrated 51 years of marriage before her homegoing in 2006. He has three children, four grandchildren and two great grand children. His marriage to the former Alice Humrickhouse brought him to Maranatha in 2008. Alice has three children, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. |
